Light and Electron Microscopy Unit 

We provide advanced imaging solutions that support cutting-edge research in the fields of medical, biological, and material sciences. The equipment is housed in the Linnaeusborgh (Zernike Campus) on the 5th floor close to the mamalian cell culture facility (Light microscopes + TEM sample preparation) and the basement (Transmission Electron Microscopes).

Availability

The microscopes and related equipment are open for students, PhD students and researchers from the RUG and the UMCG. Equipment can only be used after appropriate introduction and/or training. Contact persons can be found in the description of the equipment.​
